Trekking in Kalindikhal

Kalindikhal Trek is a tremendously challenging expedition-style cross of the Kalindikhal Pass (5967m) in spectacular Garhwal Himalayas. The route involves a trek over rough glaciers, rocky screens and crevassed snowfields. Trekking in Kalindikhal. At times we require to roped up and require the use of ice axes and crampons. Kalindikhal trek takes you half way round Garhwal from the Bhagirathi gorge to the Alaknanda Valley. Although prior mountaineering experience is not required, this trip is one of our majority difficult treks right to only those who want to join an investigation style journey.

Day 01: Haridwar Uttarkashi
Upon arrival at pre booked hotel in Uttarkashi meet our envoy and Trekking crew. Remaining day to Relax and get used to Overnight stay in Uttarkashi, Uttarkashi is small town in the Uttarakhand Garhwal hills on the bank of the Bhagirathi River. This place is very well-known for Vishwanath temple and Nehru organization of Mountaineering . It is also the main town of many climbing and trekking expedition in Gangotri Himalayas area.

Day 02: Uttarkashi - Gangotri (3048 m/ 10,000 ft) Drive (95 kms)
Morning after breakfast drive to Gangotri Gangotri is the place where the Goddess Ganga descended on Earth from Heaven, On arrival check-into Hotel . evening Darshan of Gangotri temple and Arti of Bhagirathi River.

Day 03: The day to explore around Gangotri, adaptation and Yoga
After breakfast we start trek to climb Pangarchulla peak, its trekking peak near kuari pass area, on the summit we can have a view of 360digree Himalayan panorama.

Day 04: Gangotri -- Bhojwassa (3792M ) 13 kms trek/6-7 hrs)
In Morning after breakfast start trek to Bhojvasa via Chirbasa (3600mt). from Gangotri we walk Uphill along the beaten trek towards chirbasa. The trek passes through beautiful landscapes. This whole trek is along the Bhagirathi River, The camp at Bhojwasa looks up to the Gaumukh glacier at a distance, and has magnificent views of Bhagirathi series of peaks. There is a small temple and some Baba,s Ashram . We make our camp near river side and do yoga & meditation and enjoy excellent sunset on Bhagirathi group of peaks. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 05: Bhojwassa - Gomukh (3890 mts/12760 ft) - Tapovan (4463 mts / 14640 ft)
Morning early wakeup and enjoy the panoramic view of Bhagirathi group of peaks. After Yoga and Meditation take breakfast then trek to Gomukh (3890mt), Gaumukh is a massive glacier which feeds the recurrent Bhagirathi River. It is one of the largest glaciers in the world. This place has a great religious meaning, and a dip in the water is careful very holy, After having a holi dip and puja of Ganga MAA , trek further to Tapovan, one of the finest high height alpine meadows in the area. Dinner and overnight stay in Tent.

Day 06: Tapovan (4463 mts / 14640 ft)
Nandanvan (Trek 4-5 hrs), flora & Fauna of the high altitude Himalayas, landscape. Explore the Kriti & Meru Glacier. clim to Nandan van via Gomukh glacier. Dinner and overnight stay at the tent.

Day 07: Nandanvan - Vasuki Tal (4880 m/16000 ft) Trek (6 kms / 4-5 hrs)
This is 4 to 5 hrs trek. Nandanvan forms the base of Kharchakund, Bhagirathi and other peaks crossways the Gangotri glacier. One needs to first trek down to Chaturangi Glacier and then trek 3 Km to Nandanvan. One can enjoy the during the night stay in camp ground.

Day 08: Acclimatize yoga and deliberation, relax and enjoy the superb snow clapped ton
Get used to, yoga and meditation, relax and enjoy the superb snow clap ton.

Day 09: Vasuki Tal - Khara Pathar (5480 m/17975 ft) Trek (6 kms/3-4 hrs)
This is 3 to 4 hrs trek. One requirements to cross a huge oak forest and further irritated green grassy meadows to reach Kharapathar. Dinner and overnight stay in tent.

Day 10: Khara Pathar – Kalandikhal base (8 kms / 4-5 hrs)
After mealtime we start our trek to Kalandikhal base. One needs to cross a huge glacier point (5500 meters). One hr of glacier walk will take you from side to side the striking springs near Kalinin Pass. The area is fully covered with snow round the year. One can enjoy the superb views of Kalindi peak, Satopnth Kol and many other peaks. One can travel around the surrounds and stay during the night in camps.

Day 11: Kalindi Base - Kalindi Peak (5964M)
This is difficult to demanding trek as one need to pass through caravan. One has to be extra cautious as the trekking flanked by the stream and Glacier is steep. Area is completely covered with snow surrounding the year. Dinner and overnight stay in tent.

Day 12: Kalindikhal - Raja Parav (4910 m/16105 ft) Trek (12 kms / 6-7 hrs)
Morning after breakfast trek to Raja parav. One hr of glacier walk will take you from side to side the eye-infectious springs near. Dinner and overnight stay in Tent.

Day 13: Raja Parav - Arwa Tal
One wants to pass from side to side rocky terrain to reach a small meadow covered with snow. More trek is required to reach Arwatal . The trek takes 4 to 5 hrs. Dinner & overnight in Tent.

Day 14: Arwa Tal - Ghastoli (3796 m/12450 ft) Trek (16 kms / 5-6 hrs)
Morning, after breakfast, it’s a short day where you have occupied time to explore the area. Dinner 7 overnight stay in Tent.

Day 15: Ghastoli - Mana - Badrinath (3096 m/10155 ft) Trek (18 kms / 5-6 hrs) – Joshimath
Morning early breakfast conclude the camp and drive downward to Badrinath -after darshan and pooja drive back to Joshimath, stay in Joshimath Himalayan Abode house stay at joshimath.

Day 16: Rest and relaxe Day In joshimath stay at best hotel in joshimath , Himalayan house

Day 17: Joshimath - Rishikesh
Morning after breakfast drive (257 km) to Rishikesh .Evening free for sightseeing and shopping
